Images can be an effective starting point when creating a story. Especially when writing as a practice for Preliminary exams or the HSC.
This photograph of Cook’s cottage in Melbourne is interesting enough to provide different possibilities, but rather than simply telling the tale of the image, you should consider asking yourself a range of questions. The following exercises are best completed in pairs or small groups and then shared. They are based on activities that I developed for Just Imagine.
